Meet the Executive Board

President:
Lucas Hjertberg, FCRH '26

Lucas is a Junior at Fordham Rose Hill double-majoring in International Studies and Spanish, and minoring in Latin American Studies. He hails from Hoboken, NJ, and currently also serves as Executive President of Fordham’s United Student Government (USG). He also takes pride in his position as striker on his intramural soccer team “The Bronx Ballers”. Outside of Fordham, Lucas enjoys watching soccer, playing with his cats, and traveling. Lucas is a 7-year MUN veteran with a knack for historical specialized and crisis committees.
 
 

Vice President:
Connor Larson, FCRH '25

Connor is a Senior from Milford, CT studying International Political Economy with a minor in Computer Science. In addition to MUN, he interns for a campaign finance company and is also the designer of this website. Outside of school, he is a huge NBA fan and will beat anyone reading this in Super Smash Bros. (Palutena Main)

Treasurer:
Adil Kadirov GSB '26

An immigrant from Uzbekistan, Adil Kadirov is currently a Junior at Fordham’s Gabelli School of Business majoring in Finance. Before arriving at Gabelli, Adil’s journey took him from Uzbekistan to Singapore, then to Los Angeles, and finally to Long Island

Adil was President of the club from 2023-2024. He has taken a step back and taken on the role of Treasurer for the semester.

Director of Communications:
Emma Adgie, FCRH '25

Emma Adgie is a fourth year student at Fordham University, studying Communication with a focus in Communication and Culture, with a minor in Spanish. She has been involved in Model UN for 5 years now and has been a member of Fordham’s Executive Board for the past 4 semesters. She enjoys foreign relations, travel, claiming to be an amateur polyglot, good food, bad movies, and memorializing the best of FUMUN through instagram (follow @fordhammodelun on instagram!) Emma plans to pursue a career in public relations/marketing post-grad, remaining in New York City and continuing her passion as a professional perfectionist.

Strider Bennett, FCRH '25

Strider Bennett is a Senior from New Canaan, CT studying Political Science. In addition to MUN he interns at Fox Business News and is the Vice President of the Club Swim team at Fordham. Outside of school Strider enjoys traveling, playing rocket league (Champ 2 baby) and watching soccer.

Director of Crisis:
Sarah Hurd, FCRH '25


Sarah Hurd is a senior at Fordham double majoring in History and American Studies with a minor in English. She joined MUN her sophomore year for the first time, and served as the Director of Training for Crisis in the fall of her junior year before going abroad in the spring of 2024. After her time in the Fordham in Granada program, she’s excited to have made her return to the same E-Board position for the 2024-2025 season. Outside of school, Sarah enjoys hanging out with friends, reading, and keeping up with politics. She’s also currently on a journey to create the perfect breakfast sandwich. In addition, Sarah recently began a new position in the Office of Study Abroad, so be sure to reach out to her for any questions from MUN to Abroad Programs to the perfect BEC.

Director of GA:
Luke Hyland, FCRH '26

Luke is a Junior from West Hartford, Connecticut studying Political Science with a History minor. This is his third year on the Fordham Model UN team, second as the Director of Training for General Assemblies, and seventh year of Model UN overall. Being one of the training directors he enjoys being the person new team members are able to reach out to and learn from by running a majority of the GA focused meetings. Outside of MUN Luke enjoys reading, going to concerts, rewatching tv shows, and obsessing over all things Taylor Swift.

Assistant Director of Crisis:
Emilio Grillo, FCRH '25

Emilio is a Senior majoring in Political Science and minoring in Music. He is from Rockville Centre, New York and loves MUN, the New York Yankees and cats. Outside of MUN, he is the Secretary for the University Choir and a Desk Assistant for Residential Life. In addition to University activities, he has worked for both a private litigation firm and a municipal Town Attorney. He also tutors elementary aged students at a local public school in The Bronx.

Courtney Daniels, FCRH '27

Courtney is a second-year student from Buffalo, New York studying International Political Economy. In addition to MUN, she is also a third-term member of the New York State Governor’s Youth Council, serving as the Wyoming County Representative. Outside of her academic and legislative endeavors, Courtney enjoys Fashion, Nail artistry, trips to Sephora, and 80’s band “The Smiths.”
